MORAL VALUES
Through hope, determination, sacrifice and the drive to protect families and communities, the Granite Mountain Hotshots become one of the most elite firefighting teams in the country. While most people run from danger, they run toward it -- watching over lives, homes and everything people hold dear, forging a unique brotherhood that comes into focus with one fateful fire in Yarnell, Ariz.

QUOTES :
[to his crew]

Eric Marsh: I want you to all breathe in this beautiful vista, because once you’re Hotshots you’re never going to be able to look out into the wild and see that pure beauty again.

Eric Marsh: No matter what happens, no matter what’s going on, stay together and look out for each other, because we’re a family.

Eric Marsh: We’re only seconds away, it’s going to feel like the end of the world. As long as you can breathe you can survive.

Hotshot Firefighter: [to Marsh] You guys are type two, so why don’t you what you do best, stay in the back and, uh, mop up our shit.

Eric Marsh: Do you know what we’re training for?
Brendan McDonough: Hotshots get to engage the fire directly. If you give me a chance I won’t let you down. I just had a daughter and I just really want to give her what I never had.

Duane Steinbrink: You all are one of the best damn crew I’ve ever seen.
