Today my madam gave a task to do a reflection. 

Hye guys. Today I want reflect (NUE1022) my Communicative English for the whole semester one that I study with my Madam what I learned in my English Class with my Madam. The topics like tell about ourself, the things that I learn about silent letter in English pronunciation and it also about diphthongs. Beside that, my Madam Ardania also teach me about how to apologizing and responding to apologize when people want apologizing from us. Furthermore my Madam also teach me how to make a video about sharing information , how to do a public speaking in front of people to train ourselft to stand at stage give a speech with confident and also teach me do a songs interpretation and interprate ourself.

What I gain in my whole class with my Madam when she teach me is I know very well how to do a paper work using 'words' and presentation using 'power point'. Beside that, I also gain exprience how to do a blog that whole in my life I never do the blog but when Madam come and teach me how to do and now I know. Furthermore Madam Ardania is very sporting lecturer I ever get. She never give up to teach us even thought we get naughty in her class.

The most enjoyable activities ever in whole semester is when I do sharing information with my friends and in that time many things we need to cut in our video because the others group keep intrupt to make us lost a focus while we record our video. Secondly, the fun activities is when my Madam give a task to do a presentation but in that time I can smile and laugh because I don't know anything about how to do presentation using power point. The interesting activities is Madam laugh when we do a funny part. Madam always patient when she teach us and that why I think she is some of the best lecture in IKMKL.

Lastly, the whole semester when Madam teach me, I got many improvement in many things. For example like I know how to do a blog , stand in bravely by our own feet when we do a presentation. Beside, I also know how to use a better words in my speech. Last I know how to speak English properly when we talk with people using English language. 

I hope Madam Ardania stay healthy and keep patient when taught students from next sem with us or next student. Always happy when taught them. And I always sucess in life.

Apologizing and Clarification

Hello everyone,

Today my teacher teach about apologizing. Do you know apologizing

Apologizing is to express regret for something done or said

Below is simple phrase about apologizing:

A: I hope you forgive me for being late. I had a flat tire.

B: That's quite all right / I understand completely. It can happen to anyone.

A: Please accept my apologies for the mistakes in the report. I forgot to check it.

B: You don't need / have to apologies. But next time, try to concentrate better.

A: I would like to apologies for shouting at you yesterday. I lost control of myself.

B: Don't worry about it. I just hope you will keep your temper from now on.

Below is example on  how to apologies

Shafikah: I'm sorry Amirah because I forgot to bring your laptop that I borrow yesterday

Amirah: You don't have to apologies to me. But next time you must alert and never forgot again


CLARIFICATION

Do you know clarification? Clarification is an explanation or more details that makes something clear or easier to understand 

Below is my dialogue with my friend on how to ask for clarification

Shafika: Amirah if you free tomorrow, I want to invite you came to my house for my wedding

Amirah: Excuse me? Can you repeat it again?

Shafika: I say if you free tomorrow, I want to invite you came to my house for my wedding

Amirah: Oh yes can, tomorrow tonight I will come.

Dialogue Form& Functions

Today we learn about form and function. Do you know meaning of form and functions?

                                            What Are Language Functions and Form? 

FUNCTIONS

Functions is the natural purpose (of something) or the duty (of a person).

EXAMPLE OF FUNCTION:

1.   "Close the windows."

2.   His job combines the functions of a manager and a worker.

3.   Her chief/main/primary/principal function is to provide expert legal advice

FORMS

The Functions of Language include its purpose, its use, and what it does. 

These include the following: 

1. Informative language function: communicating information, such as 

facts. 

2. Expressive language function: reporting feelings or attitudes or evoking 

these feelings in the reader/listener. 

3. Directive language function: using language to cause or prevent 

actions, such as in commands or requests

EXAMPLE OF FORM:

1. The medicine can be taken in the form of a liquid or pill.
  = The medicine can be taken in pill or liquid form.

2.  He was at the top of his form.
  =He was performing extremely well

3.  He's been playing poorly in recent months, but now he's back on form. 
  = Now he's playing well again

Hello guys it's been a while since my last update.

I am extremely sorry for my late update for this blog.

I understand that, as a student, we need to always present ourselves as professional and reliable, and timeliness is a large part of that professionalism.

I, therefore, let down my madam with my behavior.

I am currently taking steps to ensure that I am never late to finish my assignment for this blog (or any other work-related event) again. I was late due to my Final Exam, so I am getting to do some revision for exam. From now on, I will also be sure to finish the other jobs even earlier than I already do, so that even in the case of an emergency, I can finish my assignment with the time that's have given to me.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to ensure you guys that I greatly value my responsible as student, and that I will not let my madam and you guys down again. Thank you so much for your consideration.
